Home Made Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
1 lb / 450 g turkey breast mince
1 egg
1 oz / 25g breadcrumbs or flour
1 clove garlic chopped finely
2 dessert spoons fresh / dried herbs e.g parsley, thyme
Plenty of pepper
Few drops soya sauce
Worstershire sauce – few drops optional
Method:
1. Preheat the grill on high
2. Mix all of the ingredients well in a bowl
3. Shape into 3 burgers
4. Place under grill, after 5 mins, turn down temperature and leave for further 15 mins
5. Serve with toasted bun or handful of oven chips and lots of salad
Note:
Turkey breast mince isn’t always easy to find! It’s available in Superquinn, Lidl, Aldi and sometimes in other supermarkets
