Those living with Gout, will know the sudden and severe joint pain that is so commonly associated with it. Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis, caused by a high level of uric acid in the blood. Severe joint pain, tenderness and swelling results. Did you know however, that your diet can play a significant role in managing the condition. Being aware of the foods/ drinks that can trigger Gout flare ups/ attack.
Fear not however, as Registered Dietitian and Consultant Nutritionist Ellen Roche will be participating at an information talk on living with Gout. She will be joined by Dr. Ronan Mullen, Consultant Rheumatologist who will give you all the information in the best nutritional and medical ways of managing the condition. There will also be an open Questions and Answers session at the end to answer any of your questions.
The Talk will take place on Monday 2nd October 2018, at 7pm, in the Osprey Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare.
